I’m not here to be younger. I’m here to be real.
There’s a part of me that still feels like I should be trying to keep up — with younger women, with my younger self, with the version of me that maybe once felt more “on pace” with the world.
That part of me whispers, “You should be leaner. Stronger. Smoother. Faster.”
It’s a quiet voice. But it’s persistent.
And I know I’m not the only one who hears it.
But here’s what I’m learning — slowly, honestly, and with as much grace as I can give myself:
I’m not here to be younger. I’m here to be real.
And real is so much better than younger.
Real means I show up as I am.
With the strength I’ve earned, not the image I’m expected to chase.
With soft arms that have held babies and groceries and grief.
With legs that carry me on early morning walks.
With a body that doesn’t need to be compared to a version of me from 20 years ago to be worthy of care and strength right now.
Real means I lead by example, not illusion.
I don’t want to “motivate” women by pretending I’ve figured it all out.
I want to walk with women — in resistance, in ritual, in reflection.
That’s what Sage Stage is for.
This brand isn’t about performance. It’s about presence.
We’re not chasing youth. We’re choosing depth.
If you’ve felt like hiding, I see you.
If you’ve paused your dreams because you don’t look like a fitness influencer…
If you’ve said, “Who am I to lead, teach, share, be seen?”…
If you’ve felt that nudge that it’s too late…
Let me be your mirror.
You’re not behind. You’re blooming.
And the world needs more real.
Not filtered.
Not younger.
Just you, fully present in your own Sage Stage.
Thank you for being here. For reading. For showing up — maybe still a little unsure, but not giving up.
If this message resonated with you, I invite you to share it. Or better yet — reply and tell me what “being real” means to you, right now.
